Suggestions
Next-word suggestions while you type, and the engine behind them.
As you type Khmer, a small overlay appears beside the text with up to five suggested continuations. Accept one and it's inserted; ignore them and they get out of the way. The suggestions come from a model running on your own Mac — nothing you type leaves it.
Set up
Open the app and go to Suggestions. The engine is the one thing worth choosing.

A CLI engine doesn't answer keystroke-by-keystroke — it works in the background and fills the dictionary, which is what answers instantly while you type.
Ollama needs to be installed and running for the on-device engine to work. Pick which model it uses under Models.
How to use it
Type Khmer
Switch to Khmer Keyboard (🌐 or ⌃Space) and type. The overlay follows your text.
Accept a suggestion
Press ⏎ to take the first suggestion. The others are numbered — press the digit shown beside the one you want.
Or keep typing
Ignore the overlay and it updates as you go. Nothing is inserted unless you ask for it.
Suggestions continue across a whole sentence, not just the first word.
Limits
- Five suggestions, at most. The dictionary fills the row instantly and slower AI results replace entries as they arrive.
- A CLI engine is not live. It fills the dictionary in the background; the speed you feel while typing comes from the dictionary, not the CLI.
- Ollama has to be running. If it isn't, suggestions fall back to what the dictionary already knows.
